Astronomy by The Bay

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday December 14

5:30 PM  –  7:00 PM

Join us for a celestial evening featuring Saturn, Jupiter, and Venus with a special (yet brief) appearance by the International Space Station. Weather permitting, you’ll see the rings of Saturn and Jupiter’s moons with your own eyes. As the sun sets and the planets and stars emerge, you’ll get a new perspective from The Bay. Astronomers from The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature will provide the telescopes and expertise; you’ll have a cosmic time.

The program is free, but advance registration is required. We are limiting audience size to allow for social distancing. Masks are requested.

Parking is available at The Bay Park, located at 777 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236. Please contact us at Info@Bishopscience.org with questions.
