Welcome to The Bishop!

Tickets are for General Admission to the Museum.  When you arrive, please have your ticket readily available. Follow the link in your confirmation email to print the barcode at home or to show it on your mobile device. Visitors who have purchased senior or student tickets may be asked to show identification to be admitted at the discounted price. If you qualify for free admission, you do not need to purchase tickets here—simply come to the Museum with your information!

10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday | Noon-5pm Sunday | Closed Monday

Tickets are good for any day The Bishop is open, but must be redeemed within one (1) year of purchase. Please note the Museum is closed on Mondays, as well as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, 1st Saturday of November, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.  

If you have an online discount code, you will be prompted to enter it on the next screen.  If you are a member of a reciprocal organization and would like to use your reciprocal benefits, simply come to the Museum during business hours and we will be happy to assist you!

 

 

 

Adult/Senior Guided Tour

Stelliferous

stelliferous   [ste-lif-er-uhs] 
Definition: Having or abounding with stars.

The stars are the "stars" during this live guided tour of the upcoming month’s skies with a staff astronomer, who will talk about where our stars, planets, and constellations are headed in our night skies. We’ll also share the most current events in the world of astronomy and open the floor for an always-fun question and answer session. Stelliferous is great for curious adults and inquisitive kids alike.

 

Stelliferous Live is ($10) for Members / ($3) Members under 17  ($15) for Non-Members/ ($5) Non-Members under 17.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Advance registration is required.

Backyard Science

Science Sprouts takes place from 9:00—10:00am each Saturday.

 

  • $12 per child for Discovery Society members
  • $15 per child for all others.
  • Includes one adult to accompany each child

Advanced reservations are required. Attendance limited to 12 children.

Laser Light Nights

Homeschool Science Days

Homeschool Science Days combine hands-on explorations with themed adventures throughout The Bishop’s exhibitions, Planetarium, and Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat. Each month has a unique theme that connects to key museum content and is offered to children ages 6-12 to accommodate families with multiple ages. One parent or guardian for each student is welcome to attend the program with their child if they so choose.

Fill in the following information completely to register the student for Homeschool Science Days at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature. Each students should be registered separately at the appropriate price. The Student's information should be filled in as the Registrant.
