Pioneering astronomer Henrietta Leavitt is the protagonist of the Asolo Repertory Theater’s upcoming production Silent Sky. Full of wonder, humor, and heart, this remarkable true story takes place at Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s where one woman’s discovery forever changed our perception of the stars. In this unique Stelliferous collaboration, the show’s director will be on site to share some behind-the-scenes details. After which, our Planetarium Manager will break down the science within the production while we view the same sky Henrietta saw all those years ago. As usual, the evening will begin with drinks and conversation at 6:30 pm.

Stelliferous Live is $15 for members of the Discovery Society; $20 all others.
