Photographer Grant Jefferies shares his passion for photography, Florida environmental conservation and Manatee County’s natural resources. Without a concentrated effort to preserve and document our rich natural resources, these lands and the wildlife that thrive in them could disappear. We’ve seen the effects of shrinking coastal areas where birds and other creatures have moved further inland, and how important small – sometimes unknown – places like Curiosity Creek Preserve are to their survival. Preserved areas are home to wildlife, plant life and an entire ecosystem that helps keep us in balance and even thriving.
