“Alligators: Making Sense of Their 6 Senses” with Master Naturalist Wayne Douchcoff

All pun intended! Seriously, If you are in awe of, amazed by and attracted to alligators, make sure you don't have a fatal attraction. Wayne will share his journey from absolute, hair standing on end, fear of alligators to a layman's understanding of alligator fact and fiction. Wayne will discuss how we think alligators use their senses to survive and thrive as a species. Viewing alligator behavior from nature's perspective is one goal of this presentation. Ensuring you are not a finalist for this year's Darwin Awards is another goal! Make no mistakes about it; alligators are dangerous but understanding their biology and behavior brings an appreciation for the beauty of these prehistoric beasts.
